How to let the beetles mate | วิธีการให้ด้วงผสมพันธุ์
In my case, Allomyrina dichotoma septentrionalis for a female didn’t be interest in a male. When I tried to catch them to mate for a couple of weeks later. As a female wasn’t ready to mate at that time. So, I decided to let them into the same petting box for living together around a couple of days. Please observe your beetles whether they have a mating moment. After a female was mated, you can put a female to a breeding tank that was prepared.
ในกรณีของผม ด้วงกว่างคาบูโตะ (Allomyrina dichotoma septentrionalis) สำหรับตัวเมียนั่น ไม่ค่อยสนใจตัวผู้เท่าไร เมื่อผมลองพยายามจับพวกมันมาผสมกันมาประมาณสัก 1 – 2 อาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมา เหมือนกับว่าตัวเมียจะไม่พร้อมสำหรับการผสมพันธุ์ ณ เวลานั่น ดังนั้นผมจนตัดสินใจปล่อยพวกมันลงในกล่องเลี้ยงด้วงให้อยู่ด้วยกัน ประมาณ 2 – 3 วัน ระหว่างนั่นให้สังเกตด้วงกว่างคาบูโตะด้วยว่าพวกมันมีช่วงเวลาเลิฟซีนกันบ้างไหม หลังจากตัวเมียถูกผสมแล้ว เราสามารถวางตัวเมียลงในถังเพาะที่ถูกเตรียมได้เลย

Step 1: Pouring the Beetle Breeding Mat | เทแมทเพาะด้วง
Reused Beetle Breeding Mat from Xylotrupes gideon 
For the bottom layer is the compacted layer, we have to pour the Beetle Breeding Mat into a breeding tank. In a depth of about 6 ~ 10 cm. I used my hand and jar to compact it.
สำหรับชั้นล่าง คือ ชั้นอัดแน่น เราต้องเทแมทเพาะด้วงกว่างลงไปในถังเพาะ ในความลึกประมาณ 6 ~ 10 ซม. ผมใช้มือ และกระปุกอัดแน่น
Top layer doesn’t require to compact it. Just pouring it on a top of a compacted layer. In a depth of about 6 ~ 10 cm. (As a previous layer).
ชั้นบนไม่จำเป็นต้องอัดแน่น เพียงแค่เทแมทเพาะด้วงกว่างลงบนส่วนชั้นที่อัดแน่น ในความลึกประมาณ 6 ~ 10 ซม. (เหมือนกับชั้นก่อนหน้านี้)
Step 2: Put a plastic mesh, some barks, and foods | ใส่ตะข่ายพลาสติก เปลือกไม้ และอาหาร
The reason that we must put those things. Because of that things are very important for a female to live in a breeding tank.
Barks & Plastic Mesh for a beetle adheres to avoid turning belly up which a cause to make a beetle dies.
Foods that should be the high protein beetle jelly for a beetle because it can reinforce a beetle to provide more eggs.
เหตุผลที่เราต้องวางสิ่งของเหล่านี้ ก็เพราะมันจำเป็นสำหรับการดำรงชีวิตอยู่ของตัวเมียในถังเพาะเป็นอย่างมาก
เปลือกไม้ และ ตะข่ายพลาสติก สำหรับให้ด้วงยึดเกาะเพื่อกันด้วงของเราหงายท้อง ซึ่งเป็นสาเหตุที่ทำให้ด้วงของเราอาจตายได้

Step 3: Leave a female in a breeding tank | ปลอ่ยตัวเมียลงไปในถังเพาะ
Let it live in a breeding tank for a month or more to lay the eggs.
ปล่อยให้มันอยู่ในถังเพาะสัก 1 เดือน หรือมากกว่านั้น เพื่อให้ตัวเมียวางไข่
