Equipments & Materials
There are equipments and materials for breeding. นี่คืออุปกรณ์และวัสดุที่เราจะใช้ในการเพาะพันธุ์
- Breeding tank (Japan filter box; height: 16 cm; width: 15 cm; length: 22 cm)
- Vernier caliper
- Two of Kabuto Mats
- Beetle Breeding Mat (4.5 L)
- Barks
- Beetle Jelly (70 g)
- Larva spoon
- ถังเพาะ(กล่องฟิลเตอร์แบบญี่ปุ่น; สูง 16 ซม. กว้าง15 ซม. ยาว 22 ซม.)
- เวอร์เนียร์คาลิปเปอร์
- คาบูโตะแมท 2 ถุง

Breeding tank | ถังเพาะ
I use a breeding tank with filters to protect a beetle from fruit flies. A tank is durable and thick. This product made in Japan.

Vernier caliper | เวอร์เนียร์คาลิปเปอร์
It’s used for measuring the lengths of beetle. Before I start breeding. To find the best breeders.

Kabuto Mat | คาบุโตะแมท
I use two of Kabuto Mats to floor on the bottom. A height around 6~10 cm. Need to be packed.
ผมใช้คาบูโตะแมทสองถุงปูพื้นด้านล่างความสูงประมาณ 6~10 ซม. ต้องอัดแน่นด้วย
Beetle Breeding Mat | แมทเพาะด้วง
Use a Beetle Breeding Mat to floor on the top. A height around 6~10 cm. Don’t need to be packed.
ใช้แมทเพาะด้วงสำหรับปูพื้นด้านบน ความสูงประมาณ 6~10 ซม. โดยไม่ต้องอัดแน่น
Barks are very important for beetles. We use barks to prevent beetles capsize.
เปลือกไม้สำคัญมากสำหรับด้วง เพราะเราใช้เปลือกไม้สำหรับกันด้วงหงายท้อง
Beetle Jelly | เยลลี่สำหรับด้วง
Beetle Jelly to feed the beetle after breeding. I prefer beetle jelly from Japan. Because this product contains proteins, vitamins, and minerals.

Larva Spoon | ช้อนตักตัวอ่อน
Use for scooping the eggs and larvas after breeding for two months.

Breeders | พ่อพันธุ์ แม่พันธุ์
For the male, he came from the wild in Laos (Gen: WD) his size is 58 mm
For the female, she also came from the wild in the Northern Thailand (Gen: WD) her size is 39.7 mm

Let’s start to set up a breeding tank | เริ่มจัดตู้เพาะกันเถอะ
Step 1: Floor the Kabuto Mats on the bottom | ปูพื้นคาบูโตะแมทชั้นล่าง
First of all, I pour two of Kabuto Mats in a breeding tank. And I use my hand to push the mat to be packed. A height between 6~10 cm. is better. And little bit of water.
ก่อนอื่นเลยผมจะเท คาบูโตะแมทไปสองถุง และใช้ฝามืออัดแน่นลงไป พรมน้ำนิดหน่อย ให้ความสูงอยู่ระหว่าง 6~10 ซม.
Step 2: Floor a Beetle Breeding Mat on the top | ปูพื้นด้านบนด้วย แมทเพาะด้วง
I pour a Beetle Breeding Mat in a basin. I pour the water (1.5 L) and mix together. After that I bring a basin with a mat to floor on top. A height between 6~10 cm.
ผมเทแมทเพาะด้วง ใส่กะละมังผสมน้ำไป 1.5 ลิตร คุกเค้าให้เข้ากัน เสร็จแล้วนำมาปูด้านบนไม่ต้องอัดแน่น ประมาณ 6~10 ซม.
And then a breeding tank is ready for using now.
และแล้ว ตู้เพาะด้วงก็พร้อมใช้งานแล้ว
Put the barks and a beetle jelly on the top. And let male and female beetle to mat.
ใส่เปลือกไม้และเยลลี่ด้วงด้านบน และปล่อยให้ตัวผู้กับตัวเมียผสมพันธุ์กัน
