Anatomy | ลักษณะทางกายวิภาค
Male (♂) is very similar to Chalcosoma atlas ssp., but relatively larger in size and length, It is the largest and longest beetle of Thailand. The head is armed with a long and slender horn, with a strong tooth at the middle of the posterior edge. Female (♀), without horns on head nor pronotum, very rough surface especially on pronotum. Elytra are finely clothed with velvety brownish-yellow.
เพศผู้ (♂) มีลักษณะคล้ายคลึงกับด้วงกว่างสามเขาเขาใหญ่ หรือ ด้วงกวางสามเขาแอตลัส แต่มีขนาดเขาที่ยาวมากและสมมาตรกัน มันคือด้วงกว่างที่มีขนาดใหญ่และยาวที่สุดในประเทศไทย ส่วนหัวจะมีเขายื่นออกมาข้างหน้าขนาดยาว และมีเขาสองเขาตรงส่วนอกป้องแรก (โปรโตนัม) โค้งขึ้นด้านบน เพศเมีย (♀) ไม่มีเขาอยู่บนส่วนหัวหรือส่วนอกป้องแรก (โปรโตนัม) ตรงส่วนอกป้องแรก (โปรโตนัม) มีพื้นผิวที่ขรุขระ ตรงปีกแข็งจะมีขนปกคลุมเป็นสีน้ำตาลอมเหลือง [2]

The first larval stage (L1) to second larval stage (L2) keep it in a jar with a size of 700 ml or more than, with the temperature around 22 ~ 28 °C. For the third larval stage (L3) keep it in a jar with a size of 1.8 L or more than; To let the larvae make a proper cavity to grow up. When it is pupating. Please avoid bumping and dropping a jar because a cavity might be broken. And keep the pupa in temperature around 22 ~ 28 °C.

To care Caucasus beetle (Chalcosoma chiron belangeri) should keep in an insect carrying box or insect enclosure. Bedding with substrates such as wood shaving or sphagnum moss.
